Board of Directors
Werner Gegenbauer is a German entrepreneur with decades of leadership experience in the facility management industry. In 1982, he assumed responsibility for his family’s business, founded by his father in 1925, and developed it into the Gegenbauer Group, a leading German provider of integrated facility services. In 2023, he successfully merged the Group with Apleona GmbH, creating one of Europe’s largest facility management companies.
Beyond his business activities, Mr. Gegenbauer serves as Vice President of the German-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and as Honorary President of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Following his training as a banking professional at Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG in Bonn, Boris Niekammer began his career in strategic wealth planning.
He advised clients as a specialist at HVB Banque Luxembourg S.A. and DZ PRIVATBANK S.A.
Over the course of his career, he served as a member of the Executive Management of Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft (Schweiz) AG and as a General Representative within the Family Office of Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft AG.
Mr. Niekammer holds several recognized professional designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), CERTIFIED FOUNDATION AND ESTATE PLANNER® (CFEP®), and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Switzerland.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, he lectures at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, the University of Applied Sciences for Finance and Management, and various Savings Bank Academies.
He also serves on the supervisory boards of several companies and family foundations.
